Solar Inverter Charger Scheme

Most of the household in the rural area of State have inverters which charge their batteries for the mains (grid supply) and use the same during power cut. HAREDA has launched a scheme to provide solar inverter chargers to charge the batteries of these existing inverters through solar. The system consists solar panels and interface charge controller. The two types of systems are to be promoted by HAREDA i.e. 300 watt capacity for the inverter having 12VDC double batteries.

With the installation of these systems, the inverters in the rural areas work for the whole day even in the absence of grid power. The 300 watt solar chargers produce about 1.5 unit and 500 watt produce about 2.5 units on a full sunny day.

The Solar Inverter Chargers of capacity 300 watt is provided to the beneficiaries at fixed subsidy of Rs. 6000/- and 500 Watt capacity to the beneficiaries by providing State Subsidy of Rs. 10000/-.
